FIH CORPORATE BANKING

The objective of Corporate Banking is to be the preferred bank of the corporate sector in Denmark. In order to attain this objective, FIH must have the best financial knowledge and expertise in the market and offer competitive financial solutions, including advice on interest rate and foreign exchange risks, tailored to the individual needs and requirements of the customers.

In an effort to accommodate customer needs for insight and local presence, FIH has set up five local Corporate Banking branches in Copenhagen, Fredericia, Århus, Herning and Ålborg.

As at 1 September 2008, the business areas SME Banking and Corporate Banking were integrated – the aim being to realize advisory synergies from proximity to the customers and, thus, increased focus on large customers wishing to avail themselves of FIH’s advice and product ranges.

Another objective is to increasingly supplement the loan relationship between businesses and FIH with other financial solutions in order to further develop the business relationship for the mutual benefit of the customers and FIH.
