Satisfactory result of DKK 712 million after taxation
Growth in lending volume of 9 per cent
Writedowns of loans continually modest

In 2005, the FIH Group realised after-tax profits of DKK 712 million, up from DKK 620 million in 2004. Pre-tax profits came to DKK 891 million, compared with DKK 866 million a year earlier.

FIH's lending activities boomed in 2005 and despite very substantial loan repayments, lending increased by 9 per cent. Ample liquidity in many companies also created a fine platform for FIH's new activities in the deposit and derivatives markets. These activities were both launched in 2005 and FIH expects strong developments in these areas in 2006.
