Disclosure of confidential information

According to the Danish Financial Business Act, FIH's duty of confidentiality allows for disclosure of confidential information subject to approval by the customer only, or in the event that FIH is entitled to disclose information. However, occasionally, FIH is required to disclose information, for example to the tax authorities or the FSA. If the customer approves the disclosure of information, the customer may be informed, on application to FIH, about which type of information may be disclosed, for what purposes the disclosure may take place, and to whom the information may be disclosed subject to the customer's approval.
